Kevin A. Rames is a native Crucian who has been a member of the Virgin Islands Bar Association since 1985. Kevin commenced the practice of law in 1988 at the historic Apothecary Courtyard, Christiansted where he maintains a broad-based and diverse practice.
Kevin has correlated his practice to the needs of the local business community. He serves individuals and corporations who are navigating the complexities of starting a business and those managing, protecting and expanding local and global business interests in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Kevin has practiced before the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, the U.S. District Court of the Virgin Islands, the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Throughout the course of his career, he has been a key participant in developing a modern jurisprudence in constitutional, land use, labor, renewable energy, administrative and business law. Kevin has represented the local interests of Fortune Fifty companies in toxic tort, cost allocation and natural resources damages cases and has successfully represented private corporations, utilities and media clients before territorial and federal courts and administrative boards and commissions. He has been a member of the Ethics and Grievance Committee of the Virgin Islands Bar Association for over two decades and has served as Bar Counsel, prosecuting serious grievances against Virgin Islands attorneys accused of malpractice.
For a number of years Kevin was the Chairman and a founding Board Member of a local IRS 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the holistic personal growth, development and education of local at-risk youth. He is an equity partner of a local development company that is engaged in the enhancement of the local tourism related infrastructure. Kevin is the also the owner of Caledonia Communications Corporation, which owns and operates the seminal news-talk radio station (WSTX-AM 970) and conscious reggae station (WSTX-FM 100.3) in the Virgin Islands.
Kevin graduated from Brown University (B.A., Political Science, 1977) and from The National Law Center, George Washington University (J.D., 1983).
KaSandra N. Rogiers is an experienced attorney with a career background in local and national personal injury corporate defense litigation involving environmental toxic torts, pharmaceutical and medical device products liability and commercial matters. She has strong written, oral, and analytical skills with applied experience in health law, policy and ethics. In addition to practice in national and multi-state litigation, she is closely familiar with practice in the Virgin Islands and throughout the Third Circuit in a wide range of civil matters. She maintains a robust pro bono practice in child advocacy on behalf of neglect and abused children.
As of August 2023, KaSandra has focused her practice in the Virgin Islands, alongside Kevin A. Rames, Esq, of K.A. Rames, P.C., having returned her insight and attention to her native St. Croix.

Semaj Johnson is a seventh generation Virgin Islander and business attorney. His experience includes representing local and multinational companies and service as a law clerk and appellate staff attorney in federal and territorial courts. Semaj has litigated breach of contract actions, labor and employment matters, personal injury claims, defamation suits, real estate disputes, voting access cases, complex toxic tort cases, malpractice actions, probate matters and injunctions. He has facilitated acquisitions in the development, construction, technology, and real estate sectors. Semaj was a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellow with the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, a fellow with the 108th U.S. House of Representatives and served on two Virgin Islands gubernatorial transition teams. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., has sat on 11 non-profit boards and currently serves on the Board of the Virgin Islands Medical Examiners.
